For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with all things home improvement. Growing up in a house that was always busy with new projects, I was able to learn a lot about construction and decor while working along side my parents, whose creative vision and grit have resulted in some of the most amazing DIY projects I've ever witnessed. The passion for projects runs deep in my family. HGTV is always on in the background, and we have a hard time going more than 30 minutes without discussing whatever room we're currently redecorating, our latest DIY project, or the next one we can't wait to start. Nowadays I try to fit in as much decorating and DIY as I can while juggling a full-time career as a lawyer, but sometimes I feel like there is not enough time in the day and not enough rooms for all the projects I have in my mind's eye.

Through this blog, I hope to:

take my passion for all things home beyond the walls of my house because here on the blog there is no limit to the rooms I can design and the looks I can create,

share my thoughts and interests that fall outside the scope of my day job,

share my own real-life projects in the hope that my projects will inspire women to dare to take on the projects they've been dreaming of.

With a vision, the right tools, and a little know-how, any woman can build her dream home. Don't just dream it. Build it.
